Of course, I introduced my daughter to crayons early on, and she’s been loving every bit of her scribble time. I handed her a shoebox once, and she lit up! The scribbles started there… and are now headed everywhere. As an artist, I’m amazed by the confidence in her strokes — there’s so much joy, so much instinct. I could watch her all day. But as a parent… I’m also starting to worry just a little about how I’m going to get crayon marks off everything in the house.
